The winter can be warm and dry. Frosts may occur and occasionally even snow. Average daytime temperature ranges from 10°C to 28°C. There can be plenty of sunshine even in mid-winter.

Early Spring can be wet, however if the Spring starts dry, the rain can then occur in May and early June. Average daytime temperature ranges from 16°C to 28°C. April, May and June can be very pleasantly warm.

Summer is hot and very dry. Average daytime temperature ranges from 25°C to 35°C.

September is the perfect month to enjoy Provence and even October is delightfully warm and sunny.

A strong wind "Le Mistral", can get up at any time of the year. It is a dry wind, hot in the summer, creating dangerous conditions for forest fires, and cold in winter. It can blow for several days but does bring very clear dry air and the days following "Le Mistral" are beautiful with spectacular sunsets. Lens shaped clouds in the Western sky will tell you that "Le Mistral" is about to get up.
